In the United States, denim accounts for 39% of clothing sales, and in Western Europe for 20%. Denim has really grown to form a world of its own with its own codes and fashions”. For its third edition, the platform for sourcing denim textiles and denim manufacturers has recorded a slight increase, with nearly 80 exhibitors, and thus confirms its legitimacy:
“We have certainly observed that this pooling of the denim ranges offered at Texworld Denim is a strong drawing point, to the extent that it is now impossible to imagine a show without it, and this is not just in the view of Messe Frankfurt France staff at but also that of the exhibitors and visitors. This interest is what convinced us of the merits of creating a show for denim, which has definitely established itself”, added Michael Scherpe, President of Messe Frankfurt France.
Strong interest towards major operators, who have already confirmed their presence:
The Turkish company Atlas Denim and their annual production capacity of 48 million meters.
The Indian Bhaskar Industries, and its vertically integrated mill, with an annual production capacity of 44 million meters.
Foison textile, from Guangzhou invests the fair with a 42 m2 booth.
Foison is one of the fastest growing denim / non-denim companies in China and has a solid reputation for its sustainability.
The major spinning mills and weavers from Pakistan that combine innovation and sustainability: Mekotex and SM Denim.
Nice Denim Mills Lt. from Bangladesh, a subsidiary of the textile giant Zaber & Zubair, capable of producing no less than 60 million meters a year.
Two others Bangladeshi cotton specialists also acted their presence: Argon Denim and Evince Textile.
Texworld Denim will again host a Trends Forum combining products and materials, as well as a Social Village and its bar.
