The denim sector is pursuing an alternative approach for the benefit of fashion brands

Texworld Denim and Texworld Paris are bringing together almost 1100 clothing manufacturers for the September show, including a number of denim specialists. A wide variety of firms producing materials and clothing are offering a large number of very varied collections in a space that is now wellknown to visitors.

“Apparently women have seven pairs of jeans and men six. What is certain is that jeans are viewed as being durable and long-lasting. They are an item of clothing that is very much in fashion, and very much in line with what consumers want. And their prospects for growth are still healthy. The denim industry has a very specific and unique rhythm and I am happy to report that it has been fairly easy to organise and present a diverse offering for this 4th session of Texworld Denim, thanks in particular to the arrival of some new Chinese contributors. Session by session, Texworld Denim has found its niche”.

Texworld Denim Paris: a different proposition 

Messe Frankfurt France’s show dedicated to denim has the distinctive feature of being in sync with the rhythm of the global ready-to-wear branch, rather than with that of its own sector. This alternative offering is a golden opportunity for brands whose collections are particularly light on denim. In fact, there are very few brands that have not taken on this material, given that denim is a fashion staple with 2 thousand million articles sold every year. Texworld Denim Paris represents an opportunity for fashion brands to take care of all of their orders at the same time as the remainder of their collections, in one and the same place. An invaluable advantage. Producer countries that are faithful attendees at Messe Frankfurt France’s fashion fairs can come here to showcase their denim ranges comprehensively. 

We are delighted that India and Bangladesh continue as regular exhibitors at our 4th event, but it is China making the strongest contribution with products ranging from basics to more creative ones by way of innovations. Turkey will also be represented with the return of Atlas Denim (Stand B176), a major manufacturer from the Adana region, who this past February was visited by a well-known, imaginative American brand, producing very rewarding results. 

Texworld Denim Paris offers, as it always does, insights into current trends in materials and clothing as dreamed up by the shows’ artistic directors for the heart of the Denim Bar Trends.
